AI product video prompts you can copy and adapt

4 min read · Published 2026-10-04

Good product video prompts are short, specific about motion, and strict about what must stay unchanged. Use these as starting points, replace the bracketed parts with your product, and generate a few variations before choosing.

Before you start

  • Use a clean, high-resolution photo of the real product. The better the source, the more faithful the clip.
  • Generate 5 to 8 second clips first. Short clips drift less than long ones.
  • Add captions, logos and calls to action in an editor afterward, not in the prompt.

Tabletop and studio shots

Slow push-in on [product] on a clean [marble / wooden / pastel] surface, soft studio light, subtle shadow movement. Keep shape, label and colors unchanged.
A soft light sweep reveals the material of [product] while the camera slowly pushes in. No spinning, no new text, no extra objects.
Partial slow orbit around [product], about 60 degrees, soft reflections on the surface. Keep the label facing the camera.

Macro and detail shots

Macro shot of the texture of [fabric / leather / ceramic], camera glides slowly along the surface, shallow depth of field.
Close-up of the [button / zipper / cap] of [product], very slow push-in, crisp highlights. Keep proportions unchanged.
Water droplets slide down the surface of [bottle / glass], camera static, soft backlight.

Lifestyle and context shots

[Product] on a kitchen counter in morning light, steam from a nearby cup, camera slowly pans right. Keep the product exactly as in the image.
A hand reaches into frame and lifts [product], smooth natural motion, background softly blurred.
[Product] on a desk beside a laptop and plant, gentle daylight shift, slow pull-back reveal.

Hooks for short-form ads

Open on a tight detail of [product], then pull back to reveal the full item in the first two seconds. Vertical 9:16.
[Product] floats up slightly and rotates a few degrees against a gradient background, soft reflections, vertical 9:16.
Quick light flare across [product] followed by a slow push-in. Leave empty space at the top for a caption.

What to check before publishing

  • Is the logo, label text and color still correct in every frame?
  • Are proportions and small parts such as caps, handles and buttons unchanged?
  • Does the motion look natural, or does anything melt or morph?
  • Is there any generated text, brand mark or object that was not in your photo?
