Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: October 4, 2026

FastStudio is for making legitimate marketing, product, social and creative videos. This policy explains what you may not create or upload, how we screen content, and how to report a problem or appeal a decision. It applies to every prompt, image and video in the Studio, and it forms part of our Terms of Service.

1. Prohibited content

You may not create, request or upload content that falls into any of these categories.

Sexual content

  • Sexually explicit or pornographic material, nudity intended to arouse, and “undressing” or clothing-removal transformations of any image.
  • Sexual content involving violence, coercion or lack of consent.
  • Sexual content involving animals.

Minors

  • Any sexual, suggestive or exploitative depiction of a person who is or appears to be under 18. We report suspected child sexual abuse material to the relevant authorities.

Real people and deepfakes

  • Swapping, replacing or manipulating a real person’s face, or creating realistic synthetic media that could mislead people about what a real person said or did.
  • Using a real person’s likeness or voice without their consent, or impersonating a person, brand or organization.

Hate speech and harassment

  • Content that attacks, demeans or promotes hatred or violence against people because of race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, caste, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or similar characteristics, and content that harasses or threatens a person.

Violence and self-harm

  • Graphic violence, gore, torture, terrorism or extremist propaganda, and content that promotes or depicts self-harm or suicide.

Deception, illegal activity and rights violations

  • Scams, fake reviews, fake news, election disinformation, or anything unlawful where you live.
  • Content that infringes others’ rights, such as copyrighted characters, logos, trademarks or music you have no right to use.

2. Other things you may not do

  • Try to bypass our filters or those of the model, for example by rewording a refused prompt to get the same result, or by asking for “uncensored” output.
  • Resell access to the Studio, or generate videos in bulk with automated tools without our permission.
  • Share your account or use someone else’s.

3. How we screen content

  1. Before generation. Every prompt is checked automatically against this policy, using our own rules and a third-party content-safety service. A prompt that is blocked is not generated and you are not charged.
  2. Model-level filters. The video model provider may refuse some requests or images. If it does, the amount is returned to your balance.
  3. Records and review. We keep a record of blocked prompts and the reason, so we can investigate repeated attempts and respond to reports.
  4. Reports. Anyone can report a video (see below). We review reports promptly, and we remove content that breaks this policy.

Automated screening is not perfect. It can miss things and it can wrongly block a legitimate prompt; that is why reporting and appeals exist.

4. What happens if you break this policy

Depending on how serious the violation is, we may:

  • refuse the request and warn you;
  • remove the content and limit features or the rate at which you can generate;
  • suspend or permanently close your account;
  • for serious violations (such as sexual content involving minors, or repeated attempts to bypass filters), forfeit any remaining balance to the extent the law allows; and
  • keep records and cooperate with law enforcement where the law requires or permits it.

5. Report a video or a problem

If you see content that breaks this policy, or you believe it uses your likeness or rights without permission, email hello@faststudio.ai with a link or the video details and what is wrong. Signed-in users can also use the “Report” button under any of their videos. For urgent matters, such as content involving minors, put “URGENT” in the subject line.

6. Appeals

If you think we blocked a prompt, removed content or restricted your account by mistake, email hello@faststudio.ai from the address on your account and explain the situation. A person will review it and reply, and we will reverse the decision if we find it was wrong.

7. Responsibility and AI-generated content

You are responsible for your prompts, your uploads and how you use the videos you generate. AI output can be inaccurate or unexpected, so check it before you publish. The videos are AI-generated: label them as such where the platform you publish on or the law requires it, and do not present them as real footage of real events.
